Mojo

Austin Powers lost his Mojo. Wouldn't it be odd if your Mojo was your partner in life? Just looking at it from a different point of view. Thinking out of the box.
Certainly your first love comes to mind. Somehow we are never quite the same.

Isn't Mojo described as confidence, assurance in your ability to overcome anything thrown at you and having no fear or doubt? A lot of people, myself included, feel that as long as my partner has my back, I am all of the above.

What does having your back mean? This is the only way I can describe it.

Robert E. Howard was the writer of pulp fiction back in...oh, the 1930's or 1940's (I could be wrong about that). Anyway... he wrote Conan the Barbarian.

Conan was in a life and death struggle with some supernatural enemy and his mate at the time was Belit. He was slowly being overpowered by his stronger abvasary and when he got the chance, he thrust out his arm. A knife was placed in his hand. Get it? He knew. He knew that Belit would do this. He expected it. And she knew what was required. She also knew that he would do the same for her. They had each others back.

Check out, "The Getaway". Docs woman literally had to screw some slimeball to get him out of jail. Now that's above and beyond.

If you had a partner like that and you let her/him slip through your fingers, then go and find him/her. Such strong feelings do not just "go away". They only go dormant. Austin Powers had to go back in time to get back his Mojo. What are you willing to do?

POSTSCRIPT: To Renee former graduate of O'Fallon Tech. Renee, I know you're old now. I'm old too.
